Tobacco Policy

The smoking of tobacco products is prohibited in all interior Federal occupied space, in or on all exterior Federal occupied space, including courtyards, garages, loading docks, stairwells, rooftops and balconies, and within 25 feet of doorways and building air intake ducts on other outdoor areas under the control of the Federal Government. These restrictions will help to eliminate smoke from entering the building and reduces occupant and visitor exposure to smoke. The policy also eliminates smoking in courtyards which is defined as an area wholly or partially surrounded by walls or buildings. These changes will also affect any Federal Parking Garages. Occupants will be asked to extinguish all smoking material prior to entering the garage.

No tobacco use in any form will be permitted at any time in the Court spaces.
